When I was a child, I always wanted to be an artist, but as I grew older, I abandoned the notion for something more structured and predictable in modern society. Funny enough, I happen to love my job as a Data Scientist, but it was not until I re-incorporated the arts into my life that I finally felt like I was wholly myself again.
This is a great question; I don't balance it at all. I don't even try to balance it if I am being completely transparent. If I am at the office and I get an idea for a collection, I will jot it down right then and there. If I am painting and I have a revelation about one of my projects, I will put my brush down and run to my laptop to edit my code. I think the balance really lies in living in the moment, and not forcing two halves of yourself into separate buckets. After all, we can be two things at once, right?
I create whatever it is that I am generally feeling in the moment. I make it a rule for myself to never paint with a heavy mind, so that my work effects my audience in a way that is positive and inspiring. You will find that my work varies significantly in theme, but never in character.
Commissions and custom art requests are accepted and encouraged. The process includes ideating on a theme, product size, and gaging an estimated delivery date. Commissions are stand alone pieces of art that are always worth the wait ✨
The gallery is 100% online as of now, but an in-person gallery is at the top of the to-do list!
I advise that even the smallest amount of time that you can allocate to those things that bring you joy can move mountains in your life. The hardest part of it all is gathering the momentum to just start.
I do not have any workshops or classes scheduled for 2023, but if there is enough interest in the upcoming months, a workshop just may pop up on my calendar... 😊

Prints will be coming soon! If you are interested in prints of an original painting, you will not have to wait for long. Good things are en route!
